Probably because they're pretty much the only people producing small
semi-pro video cameras equivalent to the TRV900 these days :). There
may be exceptions, but I can't think of any off the top of my head, and
in particular I don't think there's anything else shooting HD in that
size range: possibly the original JVC HDV camera but it has a pretty
poor reputation.
