I just bought a ZR-1000 for my trv900. Initial impression is that it works
ok, better than the built-in rocket. However, even at the slowest fixed
speed (dial #1), I feel that it would be better if starting and stopping
zoom could be made less abrupt. Would the varizoom work better in this
regard? Some web site says camcorders have minimum zoom speed; if dial#1
correspond to the minimum zoom speed of the trv900, than starting and
stopping cannot be made less abrupt.
I search the web for zr-1000 versus the varizoom but found very little
direct comparision. I want to know if the varizoom would permit slower zoom
speed than the zr-1000 with the trv900? And would it allow a more gradual
start and stop during zoom?
