Who is communicating with who? Surely you don't mean
that the camera operators are communicating with the
sound people? Presumably you mean that the director or
producer, etc. in the control room are communicating with
the sound people.
Why wireless? If you have some way of getting the sound
signal from the sound people into your video recorder(s),
you already have a hard-wire path. Hard-wired intercoms
are preferred even by people with unlimited budgets. Why
would you want to use wireless with all the extra problems
it poses (some of which you seem to be aware of).
