You should have got a serial number for QT Pro with your FCP - although
if your FCP is old (FCP 4, HD, or earlier) then you may have a serial
number for QT Pro 6 or even QT Pro 5. If you bought a copy of FCP 5 or
FCP Studio then you would have got a serial number that enables QT Pro 7.
It would appear that Apple has just announced it's discontinuing the
availability of FCP 5, DVD Studio Pro 4, Soundtrack Pro, and Motion 2 as
separate products. In future you'll only be able to get them as part of
the FCP Studio package. The good news is that there is a reasonably
priced upgrade to the Universal (PowerPC & Intel CPU) version of FCP
Studio, especially if you own just one of the above components - the
upgrade gets you all of the components in the FCP Studio package. See

Thanks for the offer. I had a look at your web page and are interested
in what you plan to do with video considering your background in audio.
