So I take it you cannot find any similarities between Liquid and a real Avid
product then? Just the splash screen and the box it is then. I thought you
might at least have pointed out the product support for Liquid and Avid
products are equally inept. I'll make it easy for you. List the
differences between Pinnacle Liquid 6.x and Avid Liquid 7.
For someone who isn't concerned about name dropping you give all the
impressions of being obsessed by the Avid name. Do you call yourself an
Avid editor now? LOL.... I can understand why you are pleased that Liquid
has been rebranded. I mean, the embarrassment of being a Pinnacle user must
have hard to be taken seriously even in the wedding community.

Having been a regularly contributing member of the Avid support forum for
several years and I know the feeling of the community. I have seen several
other members get frustrated at the lack of development and leave for other
products. They could just be bullshitters but I doubt if all of them were.
I suggest you stop by the Avid support forums and guage the feeling of some
loyal users. After last years NAB there was open and hostile attacks for
Avid's lack of development of Xpress Pro when companies like Apple were
releasing significant upgrades to their products. Same again after the
Adobe announcement. No Avid might not be losing sleep but they are losing
customers, business and at the very least good will.

Clearly there is a big difference between saying 90% of Hollywood uses DS
Nitris to on the other hand saying 90% of Hollywood uses an Avid product
somewhere during the production of a film. What do you actually mean? When
you say 90% of Hollywood do you mean 90% of Hollywood films or 90% of
Hollywood production companies use Avid? If you can decide what the 90%
statistic is actually referring to we'll be able to determine whether the
claim holds true. The owness is on you to define what the 90% is actually
referring to. At the moment you are the one who is "shooting from the lip"
so to speak. Define and substantiate the claim....
I bet Microsoft could easily claim "100% of Hollywood uses Microsoft" but
they wouldn't be suggesting Hollywood uses Windows Movie Maker would they?

What's all this blind rage? Hey calm down you are the one using CAPS.
