I have a DXA4 at the office which I use with a Sony TRV950
and at home a DXA6 which I am going to use with my
TRV900. The DXA4/TRV950 is good enough for our
purposes (general industrial) mostly with a clip-on lav
mic (but we are in rather noisy environment).
If you are shooting at low levels (boom mic at a distance,
quiet dialog in quiet environment, etc.) you might seriously
consider a separate recorder.
