I'm not sure who you're having a conversation with, Martin. The point I
took issue with is Nappy's "She's not an actress" speech.
Omorosa is hot right now. The fact that sometime in the future she'll
get cold, is a given. But to thrash the idea of putting her in a movie
because she'll get cold sometime in the future makes no sense at all.
He didn't dispute she was hot, he just argued that it wouldn't last
therefore the idea if putting her in a movie is bad.
Of course the subtext here is that he doesn't like the woman.. Had I
mentioned say, Hillary Duff, I assure you his opinion would have been
more objective.
And for the record I too think Omorosa is of below average looks and an
idiot; but again, this has nothing to do with her marketability. As the
saying goes, "she's the woman America loves to hate." That's what makes
he marketable not her looks, talent, or intelligence.
America can't get enough of this walking train wreck; that's why she
keeps popping up in all these reality shows. That's why why they
mention her name as a talk show guest, ratings go up.
Hollywood history is replete with talentless bimbos who went on to have
fabulous careers.Why say this can't happen to Omorosa?
