Hi, I'm trying to assemble the parts for my video production system.
I need to have a graphics card to allow preview on my HDTV (I do not
own an HDTV monitor but still have a vga monitor). I'll be in a Vegas 6
environment on XP using an athlon 3500+ CPU.
I'm thinking about Parhelia APVe Video Card 128 MB. ($350)
or the
PNY VCQFX540-PCIE-PB Quadro FX540 128MB 128-bit DDR PCI Express x16
Video Card
($250).
Both have component out. PNY has a VGA output as well as component and
DVI, while Parhelia has 2 DVI's and component.
Can anyone recommend one or another?
What about the others listed on newegg that "claim" to support output
as HDTV.

I'm leaning toward the PNY (if only for price reasons), but Parhelia
seems to have better documentation and mindshhare. But no one seems to
have tried the latest Vegas 6 with either one.
Thanks.
