Itc ertainly does. However that doesn't mean somebody has to do this
straight away, since most HDV-material ends up on SD anyway. In that regard
you can see on your SD-monitor what the end-result will become.
I see HDV as an investment in the future, where everybody will have better
TV's or video-beamers which can display that higher resolution. Right now
it's onl the happy few which can enjoy the benefits of the higher
resolution. However the "GIGO"-principle applies here when creating
SD-material :)
