sounds great! we'll probably do the update in the next few weeks. right
now have 4 more programs to edit plus our demo dvd and then followed by 5
more program tapings on the 20th. so, we'll get those out of the way before
tackling a mod to LE
regarding the DVD authoring issues, what kind of complications are being
experienced? is it worse that the LE version with AL7 or similiar?
sorry to hear that you lost your camera operator, but you can always work on
another. i have a granddaughter that is extremely interested and although
she's only 10 she's showing a lot of interest. thus, i put the camera in
her hands once in a while, talk with her about how it operates and focal
points and she's doing a great job with it. i let her use my little handcam
(consumer panasonic product) and it's interesting to see how she's learning
to make the right zooms, control the speed, and even steadies the cam with
both hands when necessary. the question for me will be whether or not she
has the patience to hold the camera to one spot during a taping session and
focus on getting the right shot. in a few years she might be better at it.
it seems like a female has such better mental focus, at least from my
perspective being the director when taping and trying to run a camera,
because my wife runs one of the other cameras and her shots are much better
than mine :o( she's like a natural and i been doing similiar
photography/videography for over 30 years. o well. as far as my
granddaughter or one of the other g'kids, i'd love to see one of them come
into the business so that i'd have someone to pass the business on to in 5
yrs or so. :o)
