If you're referring to software that does audio editing as well as
video, take a look at Sony Vegas at http://tinyurl.com/7mjbz
It began as a multitrack audio editor (versions 1 & 2) and added video
in version 3. It's currently at version 6. There's a demo version to
download and plya with if you're interested.
