I haven't used SF since 4.5 but have Audition 1.5,,, as I remember SF
it was an editor, Audition is that and a multi track and you can also
import video so you can create a soundtrack or sweeten the soundtrack
in one program.
I have barely scratched the surface with Audition. I did see a demo at
DV expo about how they have adopted some of the Photoshop tools like
clone, where they erased a cough in a classical music performance.
It's like anything though, its a tool, if it works like you think then
great, if not you will find yourself fighting it.

Acid, etc, very cool.
