Funny, I'd turn that around. One can load a video in Audition and edit the
audio while the video plays along in its own window, add as many discrete
tracks of additional music, effects, and dialogue as desired, add effects to
each track, mix the tracks down, save the session to work on another day.
Noise Reduction and many other effects are built into the program minimizing
the need for Plug-Ins. Etc. Haven't used Sound Forge since about 4.0. So,
I can't compare. I know each program has its advocates. Audition works for
me. Sound Forge didn't, which is why I moved on.
