I bot a U82 many years ago (paid $999), still use it, but will be
selling it eventually. (I have original box, manual, etc.)
I was so impressed by the 2/3rd speed slow motion of the U82, than I
bot this drum so that I could use this deck indefinitely into the
future. (If you're not familiar with the science of "fast" slo-mo from
a drum, you mount the slo-mo head on piezo crystals so the heads can be
moved up and down on the drum while it is rotating.)
While I don't think there is still another consumer video anything that
can so such a "fast" slo-mo, I just don't really use it any more.
(NOTE: there are some JVC BR models that have infinitely variably
slo-mo, like they can do .99, .98, .97, etc, however, they are big,
commercial decks.)
I did find this drum listed here for $281.85 and it is not in
production:

My price is $150 firm.
