I just bought the Signature Edition set. I love the DTS soundtrack, and
the anamorphic widescreen transfer.
One (minor) caveat: the widescreen transfer is a cropping of the 4:3
frame. They don't always crop the same parts of the image - you're not
really missing anything important - but it's not like you're seeing more
image than you were in the original version.
Anybody know why they did this? Didn't they film this in widescreen? (Of
course it was made back in '98, maybe they didn't)
