I sure hope not, or else it's a bomb of megaton proportions.
But unfortunately, even if it doesn't, the $59.2 million total is rather
short of the $80 million Whedon said he'd need before a sequel would be
considered. So I suppose it's now official that there isn't going to be
any Serenity franchise.
