I'm hoping someone can help with this.
I recorded a 2-hour show onto a DVD+RW on my Sony RDR-GX300. (I
recorded at SP quality, so the show filled the disc.)
I was cutting some commercials and junk out of the recording ("A-B
Erasing") when, after making a bunch of edits (less than 20), I got an
error message:
"No new data can be added to this disc."
From that point on, the option to A-B Erase disappeared completely
from my menus and now I'm stuck with a half-edited disc that I can't
modify.
Does each edit take up a little bit of space on the DVD+RW disc? Do I
need to record a show at LP quality instead if I want to be doing a
lot of A-B Erasing?
Any help -- even a pointer toward the right FAQ -- would be
appreciated.
