After having lot of problems while reading labeled DVD's, I found out that
the label was faulty. So I decided to try some different (8) brands. The
only one that works fine (up to now) is Neato.
Reason of problems was the glue that is used. Most readers are running
relatively warm, which causes the glue to dissolve and the label to become
loose, with air bubbles appearing. Sometimes very small bubbles, but enough
to cause reading errors and sometimes lock-up of the reader.
And as said earlier, in those cases, just removing the label and cleaning
the DVD solved the problem.
In my opinion, it's a shame that so many brands sell a product that does
absolutely not fit for the job.
