Having never read too much into Freud's theories I can't say for one way
or the other about them but I do remember a couple that I personally
have never found to be true (like a boy having the desire to kill his
father and sleep with his mother & that all men have homosexual desires
at some point in their lives)
I don't know of any of my friends that have ever felt similar either
(don't know anyone whose ever thought of their mother in any other terms
of that of being their mother) But hey - I don't claim to be a
psychoanalyst so I could be wrong)
Also not 100% sure what the topic has to do with how Brasso can redeem
discs that are scratched - though I'm thankful for the tip as I've got a
couple of discs that are close to being chucked cause of the
scratches... tried a DVD repairer which hasn't had much success yet
(though it does seem to make the DVD work a bit better but there are
still some places where the green blocks attack the picture)
