The problem with BB is they do not have enough discs. When my queue
showed 12 titles at the top of the queue were delayed, I decided I had
enough and went over to Netflix.

I have had only one title with a "short delay" with Netflix with my
queue filled with 75 titles, mostly older sci-fi series. Judging from
the average condition of the discs, I am not the only one renting
them, which means Netfix is doing a good job of keeping up with
demand.
