thats what I use. Its still not as easy as they claim. And it wont
work on AVI files, and for some reason, i get better syncing if i
record in AVI (altho the time allowed for recording is limited because
of file size)
the Quickstream fix almost never fixes anything for me in VideoReDo. I
end up chopping the original capture up into several pieces, and then
manually adjust the audio sync for each piece, then re-assemble them.
I find that as my video capture progresses, the audio gets farther and
farther out of synch, so a single adjustment to audio sync for the
entire capture, wont work. For example it might be out 25milliseconds
after 5 minutes but 150milliseconds or even longer after 20 minutes.
Its a bit of a chore. Kinda interesting but, all these things are sold
with the "Its Amazing! DVDs from your VCRs right thru your computer!!"
then you go online and find there are page after page of forums with
people bitching about the audio out of sync. LOL
I wonder, does a DVD recorder have these sync issues, or is it a drop
dead clone of whatever is fed into it?
