Damn. After asking about on several forums and several stores, not a
single person ever mentioned this product. It is more epxensive than
what I got, the Pinnacle Studio PCI slot card AV/DV thing.
I first got their USB interface thing, which had sync problems, and
someone said get the PCI slot card thing, it will make all your dreams
come true. I havent noticed a bit fo difference. If this Canopus thing
truly works with NO sync problems whatsoever, i cure those who
persuaqded me to get Pinnacles PCI card thing. Ha!
I've been using Roxio 7 to build my DVDs and have only made one
coaster out of several DVDs i have successfuly made. I've found if the
mpgs are in sync watching them on the computer, they will be in sync
on the DVD. Maybe one had some issues. I wondered if maybe Roxio was
part of my problem-equation as well....
thanks for the tip about the stand-alone recorder. Can you program one
to record a tape, then put it on pause while you change tapes, then
continue recording?
