 thanks, but this info is sadly too late. I'm done with all of it. I
 still got camcorder footage of family stuff to do, but, will probly
 will just soldier on doing what i was doing before, and we'll keep the
 analog tape master. You know what will happen. In ten years, all this
 will be obsolete and anything analog-to-digi-mpg will look like crap
 on a stick, you'll have to go back to the analog masters and
 re-convert them.
