I admit I've never really gotten a handle on burning DVD's, but have had
some success at it in the past. Occasionally, I made one that simply would
not play on my stand alone DVD player, but my average was fair. Lately, I
haven't been able to make a single good disk. They play on the computer, but
not on the Sony player connected to my TV. I'm using an HP Media Center with
a DVD+R drive, converting with WinAvi and burning with Nero. Same computer
as always, same DVD player. This is getting expensive and frustrating. What
are the most frequent causes of errors leading to unplayable
DVD's..........TIA.
