What audio format is the recorder putting on the disk? This is a question
you need to answer. Also, how are you getting the cable/sat/etc... signal
into the recorder? Are you using component cables, composite, s-video? How
is the audio getting to the recorder? Digital(like firewire), or just
analog L/R cables?
