Just got a Panasonic ES-20 DVD Recorder. Hooking it up to a Dish
Network DVR 625. I'm passing one output from the DVR 625 into the
ES20 and then on to TV input 1, and another output from the DVR 625
directly to the TV's input 2.
When I switch back and forth between the two TV inputs and compare the
two signals from the ES 20 and the DVR 625, the signal passing through
the ES20 is noticeably greener and has some light noisy lines passing
through the picture. The one directly from the 625 is clean and looks
good.
I have tried every combination of inputs and outputs to/from the ES20,
outputs from the DVR625, and inputs to the TV, but the color shift and
noise stay constant no matter how I wire it -- the effect is most
definitely the ES20 processing the signal. Has anyone else had this
issue?
