Sounds like it might be chocking on Sony ARccOS encryption which, I
believe, DVD decrypter can't handle.
Try DVDFab Decrypter instead.

DVDFab Decrypter copies entire DVD movie to hard disk, and removes all
the protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) while
copying.
Then run it through Shrink.
Its FREE and works perfectly on Sony ARccOS stuff.
