There is a Quality Score.

Largely irrelevant. Try this experiment - run the scan over and over
with the disc not moved. You will get different results for PI,
sometimes erratic ones. Then take the disc out and clean it. Depending
on whether you removed dirt or add it, you may get a radically
different PI reading.

And then there's the widely-recognized fact that the NEC 3540 gives
bad PI scores for reasons no one seems to understand but probably has
to do with its aggressive internal optics adjustments in real time.

What standard?

Also run the transfer rate test. I am not certain of this, but I
believe you must burn the disk with the Create Data Disc to get the
Transfer Rate test to work. However don't do anything on the computer
while you are running this test or you will get false results. Look
for a perfectly smooth transfer curve. I get that every time with TY
discs.
