There are only 2 ways to do this without a loss of quality.
1. You rip the disk on a PC, and do the editing there, and output to
another disk.
2. You use a standalone recorder which has a HDD, do the editing, THEN
transfer to DVD...
Standalone recorders w/o hard drives are great for people who do little or
no editing, but they stink for just about any other use...
