When you burn the DVD, use a drive with bitsetting firmware. That will
cause DVD +R discs to look like DVD-ROM discs. Unfortunately you
cannot do that with DVD -R discs for technical reasons.

There are two options available to you: 1) Get a burner that has
bitsetting available in the factory firmware; 2) Get a burner that
does not have factory bitsetting but where you can get revised f/w
that does have bitsetting.

CDFreaks is the place to look for revised firmware.

If you don't have a burner, get the NEC 3540 or 3550 and use Liggy &
Dee's revised f/w available on CDFreaks. It will set the DVD-ROM bits
on DVD +R discs.
