I'd just completed copying 3.9GB (3,918,326,504 bytes reported from XP)
from one software DVD-R (Konco Digial 4x 4.7GB DVD-R) via my LG drive
to my 7200 rpm HD (Althon based PC) and it took incredibly long time
(58 minutes) to complete. It corresponds to 1x read speed. Why will my
drive transferring data so slow ? I've run firmware update from CD
bundled with this drive just after I installed the drive physically.
