True. However, BR homerecorder would have different issues than BR
Studio release.
In fact, it might be that BR homerecorder would have NO copy protection
AACS or otherwise, EXCEPT to be aware of a digital input stream that
has a NO copy flag (eg BR Studio disc). I would guess, however, that
it would have to get the blessing of MPAA to be able to record HDMI as
that carries the HDCP on it for ostensibly this precise reason. Could
be that BR Recorders will only take component in?
btw, aren't there already BR Recorders in Japan?
