My Phillips (not sure on the model), seems to play damn near everything
I throw at it.
Much easier to watch D/L'd episodes of Smallville & Lost without
having to author, and I can fit 2-3 episodes on a CDR and save my
DVD-R's for other uses.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've played Xvid on it. fwiw, the only stuff
that (divx & xvid) it doesn't play also won't play on my PC
