Depends on whehter he lives in Massachusetts, with a certain carpetbagger
governer. He'd confuse anybody!
To return to topic, as stated the Made in Taiwan Fujis could be made by
anybody, but those I've used have at least tested (on DVD Identifier) as
made by Fuji. It may be that the company supplies the dye and/or
exercises quality control over something they put their name on, just as
Electrolux moved Frigidaire out of the U.s. to Mexico but presumably wnats
to keep the trade name burnished.
Me, of course I look for and plan to buy (when on sale) only Made in Japan
Fuji, on the assumption that the contents will be TY. But not everybody
can locate a shipment of same. Anybody want to call the fuji number and
ask them for a company statement on the issue?
