I think it's kind of retarded that Microsoft did not use a nextgen
blue-laser disc format
(HD-DVD or Blu-Ray) from the beginning. The external HD-DVD drive
for Xbox 360 will not help out with games at all, otherwise they will
split the 360 userbase, and I don't think M$ is THAT stupid.
So what about next time around? will the Xbox 360 successor, Xbox
2010, or whatever they call it, use one of the Holographic Versatile
Disc formats that have already been in development for some years?
I have more faith that Sony will use one of the Holographic Disc
formats for PlayStation4, especially since the PS4 will not be out in
2010, but more like sometime betweeb 2012~2014
