 Two among number of others, including MS Versions 2 & 3,
 H264 and x264 (The good free one) , but that is not the point.
 
 AVI can Interleave almost any Audio and Video.  In the past,
 for many, it was considered synonymous with DV-AVI.  Prior
 to that it stood for many Windows compatible video and audio
 formats.  Just saying AVI, means nothing to anyone who has
 worked with the various formats.
 
 MPEG 4 can also appear as .mp4 ( in fact in that format AAC
 audio can be supported.)
