hi, bill =) thanks for your response! :)))))) i guess i don't understand
what you mean. what i do is simply convert my vhs tapes to dvd, so i have
them both set up for dubbing. when i play the tapes in the vcr with this
setup, i get the slight shimmer effect. when i replace the dvd recorder with
a vcr, the picture is perfect, so i suspect there is something in the dvd
recorder causing the issue.
