no problem =) sometimes it's hard to describe without seeing it =) i just
meant that when i tape using the dvd recorder, the tapes "shimmer".

the dvd recorder has an s-video input, but the vcrs do not. i am going to
get a composite to s-video adapter to see if maybe that will help :)
