Have a Pioneer DVR-420H. It is set up for Auto clock setting with BBC1
as the Channel governing the setting. Has worked fine for 6 months in
conjunction with a Panasonic Digital TV.
Something weird happened in the early hours of Sunday morning (11 Sep ).
The DVR recorded a timer programme fine but then failed to record other
programmes set for later in the day. I deduce now that the internal
clock reset itself and went from 11/Sep/2005 2.30 a.m. to 10/Sep/2005
2.30 a.m. And when it caught up with a timer setting for a programme to
be recorded every Saturday morning, it recorded the appropriate Channel
at the right time but 24 hours late.
Any ideas why the clock jumped back 24 hours? I'm assuming it wasn't a
glitch with the BBC signal otherwise other people would be posting on
the TV groups. Is there some known fault in the DVR?
