Well, I want to thank the expert(s) for helping me with my problem. Using
WebCrawler (not Google), some patience and trial and error I solved it
myself without returning "that piece of crap".

Installing DScaler 5 fixed the problem of not playing homemade dvds.

It's garbage like this that reminds me why I rarely post anything on Usenet
anymore.

I've been online for 25 years and remember the good old days, before the
internet, when people use to be helpful and not just spouting useless crap.
Bob, maybe you meant to help, but nothing you wrote was of any use. If you
can't answer the question, just keep quiet. I don't care what device you
use or like, I needed help with a specific question to get MY hardware
running properly. Being insulted by you wasn't of any help, trust me.
