I tried that but MF4 screws the sync up anyway. 
 
Actually I believe the problem is caused by using compressed DVD. I am 
in the process of reclaiming my original from the person I lent it to, 
so hopefully I can test that theory. 
 
The scene in question is a mixture of graphics animation and live 
human scenes. I think DVD Shrink aggressively compressed that sequence 
leaving a stream that must be fixed with a Two Pass conversion in MF4.
