However, I had a batch of Maxell 4x DVD +RW (Philips 041)that would
not format with Nero, yet the ones branded Imation (Philips 041) did
format.
That seems to imply that the MID is not reliable. The two discs were
noticably different in terms of the legend on the inner clear area.
