1. What the heck is going on at your house that makes 18 months seem
like a long life? Don't you normally get at least 5 times that?
2. I have a Pioneer DV-260, a cheapie from Wal-Mart, that shuts off
about 15 minutes after play ends. I find it annoying. What is it about
not having this feature that bugs you?
3. Your post should serve as (yet another) warning to others to stay
away from combo units.
I was going to suggest looking at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
but I see that they don't include a auto-off feature as a searchable
option.
