The link below is for the VCR/DVD Panasonic combo that I have, and it says
it has Auto Off; and I believe I remember finding it had turned off, after I
had forgotten about the music CD I had left in the player... once. :)
Since I haven't played but one VCR tape since I've had it, there's no
confusion about which side shut down. I've only had it 3 months.
