Make sure the actual dvd has Slovenian available in the subtitles menu.
Otherwise you won't see them when you watch a film.
Here in the U.S. the major languages available in subtitles are usually
English, French, and Spanish.
good luck,

Hello,
I recently purchased philips dvp 5100 player and am very satisfied with
it. It has a problem thou, that I am unable to resolve. It's got to do
with subtitles and special language characters, which do not show no
matter what codepage I use. So the question is which codepage the
player uses or how do I set specific language settings.
Languages: Slovenian
Special chars: czsCZS
I tried to change subtitle settings to Slovenian and also tried
changing the codepage.
What am I doing wrong.
Thanks.
