Since you do not subscribe to the DVD forums, you are not aware that
from time to time we discuss making our own PC-based DVD-HDD unit,
complete with multi-channel TV tuner, NIC and full DVDR GUI. The
missing piece is the tuner, so I thought this one might be worth
taking a look at. I crossposted it to alt.comp.hardware in expectation
of generating some interest in our little project. Believe me, if I
had for one moment thought it would have resulted in all this fuss, I
would not have crossposted it to a.c.h.
