I'd go for the Liteon 5045, personally. £219 from Amazon, and it's got
a 160GB harddrive and a DVD writer that can cope with DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW
and DVD+R Dual Layer. Plays back MPEG2, MPEG4, DivX, XviD, MP3, and WMA.
I managed to snag one made by the OEM, Targa, for £150 from Lidl but
they've all gone now. It's identical to the Liteon except for the
branding, and I'm chuffed to bits with it.
