 I suspect quality may be spotty on those, which, considering the
 price, may be obvious. I bought one that broke when I was loading the
 second movie, (tray mechanism physically came apart, small pieces such
 as gears and springs fell out). When I returned it for exchange, the
 new one broke while loading the third movie. It simply stopped
 recognizing that a disc, any disc, was installed. When I returned it,
 the electronics manager happened to be there, and said something
 about, "Oh, another one." Now I have a Phillips DVP-642 and my fingers
 are crossed.
