Some DVD recorders have options for adjusting the brightness then
recording off VHS tape. My Pioneer DVD recorder has this option and
the Liteon DVD recorder might have this option. Have a close look at
the manual that came with your DVD Recorder for this option.
You have not told us how your computer is involved with your video,
did you edit the video on your computer first?
