I've never seen a vcr create that type problem, unless its an artifact of
copy protection.
Whoever fixed your TV should have completely gone over the bottom of the
circuit board and looked for cold or heat flexed solder joints. Bet theres
still a couple left to be found.
What type TV, and model # is it, I'll check to see if there are any repair
bulletins.
